'Euphoric and unworldly' Yesterday I went to this amazing place! It's called @the_floatworks The water in the tub is full of Epsom salt. My experience was so great that I would love to share it with you... The staff were beautiful! They welcome you in like a family and you sit and have a cup of tea tea before going to your pod. They are all so passionate about this place and it really shows!

You maybe thinking how modern and space like these pods are but in fact they have been around since the 1950s. They are just a lot more advanced now. As you sit back into the tub and close the lid it really feels like you are shutting the rest of the world out of your own space for 1 hour. Imagine 1 hour without your phone...no distractions! nothing but you and space.

You hit the light and boom... This out of world experience starts. The water is set to your body temperature and eventually you can't feel the water. Your body is just flying, your skin is just never ending, the weight is just gone. Within 10 minutes I had fallen a sleep... You maybe thinking what if you drown? (mum I know you will) but it's virtually impossible, if you have heard of the Dead Sea it's very similar. The quantity of salt in the water lifts your body and holds you above water.

In this day and age it's very hard to avoid distractions and living in London it's very hard to find time... I've always wanted to go for a spa day or weekend and I did whilst travelling... but living in London and doing the jobs I do it's very hard to judge when I will have a whole day off. But this is 1 hour!! It shuts at 10.30 so the last float is at 9 and opens at 9am. Perfect for before or after work!

It's such a euphoric and unworldly feeling. It's probably the closest you can get to flying or heaven. There are no words that fully describe the feeling you get but its amazing! It just WOW!
